USING DC1 DURING THE GAME

Summary of the DC1 Game Screen

Here is a look at the DC1 Game Screen as a whole.  We will break down each individual component below so that we cover all the bases.

Offensive Starting Position

The 1st section on the DC1 Game Screen is the "Offensive Starting Position".  This is where you will complete the following operations:

  • Offensive Starting Yard Line

  • Down & Distance

  • Offensive Hash

  • Offensive Play Direction

Offensive Formations

The 2nd section on the DC1 Game Screen is the "Offensive Formation".  This is where the offensive formations you are defending reside. The important functions here are:

  • Scout Filter

    • Clicking on this will select formations that are specific to the opponent​

  • Personnel Filter

    • Preset this and/or change to pare down formations that are specific to personnel groupings

  • Adding a Formation

    • Used when the offense shows a formation that you have not scouted​

  • Edit a Formation

    • Make changes to alignment or personnel​

Defensive Plays

The "Defensive Plays" section is where your defensive calls reside.  The key features here are:

  • Front - Stunt/Blitz - Coverage Fields

  • Selecting Calls

  • Making a "Base" Call

  • Navigating to Playbook to Add Extra Calls

Offensive Plays

The "Offensive Play" section on the DC1 Game Screen is "married" to the "Offensive Formation" section.  This is where the offensive plays you are defending reside. The important functions here are:

  • Play Direction

    • Mark the play direction so you can track tendencies in DC1

  • Pass Zones

    • Track where in your coverage the offense is targeting

  • Adding a Play

    • Used when the offense shows a play that you have not scouted​

  • Edit a Play

    • Make changes to play diagram or if run or pass

Offensive Ending Position

The last section on the DC1 Game Screen is the "Offensive Ending Position".  This is the ending spot for the offensive play. The important functions here are:

  • Tags

    • Completion

    • Touchdown

    • Sack

    • Turnover

    • Safety

  • SAVE THE PLAY

    • It will be shown on the DC1 Game Timeline

Game Timeline

The Game Timeline is where all the tracked plays from the opposing offense will appear.  Be able to look at the D&D, Formation, Play Call, Defensive Call & Result.

  • Edit Plays

  • Delete Plays

  1. Scouting Hit Chart (Top Formations/Top Plays)
